Student Membership - $15 per year

High school student, undergraduate students pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree and graduate students pursuing a master's or doctoral degree in the dance or dance education field.

Young Professional Membership - $30 per year

Membership for individuals who are within three years of graduation from a high school, community college, college (associate degrees), university (bachelor's or master's degrees) or conservatory program and who are teaching or working in the field of dance or dance education.

Professional Membership - $55 per year

Individuals actively working/teaching or retired from dance or dance education: dance educators, dancers and choreographers, dance specialists in medicine/science and technology, arts administrators, consultants and advocates.

Arts Institution Membership - $75 per year

Includes dance studios, dance companies, and other performing arts organizations. Provides two members from each institution, with $20 for each additional membership.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

PaDEO and The International Association of Blacks in Dance (IABD) are proud to announce our collaborative efforts to support dance companies, dancers, and dance educators of color in the state of Pennsylvania. To honor this collaboration, PaDEO is proud to offer no cost one-year memberships in our organization to any member of IABD who lives or works in the state of Pennsylvania beginning January 2021. Email membership@padeo.org for details. Other partnerships include free webinars this spring, hosted by the PaDEO Social Justice Committee on issues of diversity equity and inclusivity in dance.

Please note that there are membership fee waivers. The membership fee waiver request form is available to any individual, organization or school that would like to join PaDEO, but has suffered a financial hardship or has been affected by COVID-19. Please briefly explain the reason for your request through the options below— an online form which sends your submission to the membership committee OR a document you can complete and email to the membership committee at membership@padeo.org. Please use the same email if you have any questions about membership.
